REACHING CARIBBEAN
The easiest and fastest way to reach the Caribbean is by airplane. It is best to book your flight on time, so you know you want be late for yacht charter.
Also, one-way tickets are more expensive than round trip tickets, and flights in the mid-week are less expensive than weekend flights.
Most Caribbean airports are small, so arriving passengers cannot typically deplane directly to the terminal. Few airports provide shuttle service, so expect a long walk on the tarmac to the terminal to claim your luggage.
If there is no direct flight from your home country to the island where your yacht awaits, there are many small Caribbean airlines to get you to your destination, as well as ferry lines. Plan your trip carefully, so you wouldn’t lose time and there wouldn’t be any unexpected delays or problems.
To avoid any inconvenience, carefully familiarize yourself with the rules and regulations concerning luggage, customs and airport security.
